About Us

Sabrina Ginesi BA, MPhil, Dip. Psych, MKAI

Clinical Director/Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist/Supervisor

Sabrina’s background was in primary care, managing a busy GP practice in North Dublin. During this time in 2007, she developed her training and passion for Counselling and Psychotherapy, after completing a diploma in psychology where she won student of the year. Once qualified an opportunity came up to create an affordable therapeutic service within the GP practice, which was when Lir Psychological Services was created in 2009.

Sabrina’s interests are working with health symptoms in the body and assisting in relieving this anxiety unconsciously. Her other areas of work include trauma (sexual and emotional), anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias, relationships, and sexuality.

Sabrina is also a secretary and a founding member of the Kleinian Association of Ireland (KAI) where her continued training and development take place annually with ongoing certified professional development.

In 2021, Sabrina developed a mental health and wellness festival after the unprecedented times we met in 2020. This festival is growing and facilitates the needs of families and individuals struggling since the isolation and terror that Lockdowns in 2020 created.
